I went to the breakfast buffet on a Tuesday around 8am. They have 3 hot tables and a cold table with a variety of items from around the world, such as kimchee, hard boiled eggs, beans, scrambled eggs, fried rice, noodles, pancakes with syrup, store bought mini donuts, oatmeal, fruit, ham and sausage links.
The hostess didn't speak but about 2 words of English. She said something about outside. I thought she was telling me to go sit outside, after I'd selected a table to occupy in the main dining area. I questioned her a few times, looking to where she kept pointing, not quite understanding what she wanted. I think she was trying to inform me that there was more of the buffet past the doors, in another part of the restaurant. Here were the donuts, juice and pancakes, as well as other breads and coffee.
The eggs were good and still hot. The ham and sausage was tasty. I loved the noodles. The pancakes were very good. Their OJ seemed more like Tang than actual juice.
A bowl for the oatmeal had a gaping hole on the side. A plate on the top of one of the stacks sat with a glob of ketchup on it for the entirety of my stay, about 20 minutes...no one ever removed it.
And then 2 pigeons walked out of the kitchen and started pecking around the dining room area like wait staff looking for busy work when the manager walks out of their back office. Other patrons were shooing them. One table looked on in amazement, taking photos. I looked down at my eggs and pondered. They went back into the kitchen.
The buffet was $8.25 after tax. I left that on the table and walked out. Two hours later, I'm hungry. -

Discrimination if you are not her people you will get kicked out from her restaurant to let you eat outside of this establishment. We will never stepped inside "ALOHA BISTRO" again if we visit Honolulu!!!!!! Remember her name and all her staff!!!!!!!
